At the Rochester 2019 Maker Faire, I was awarded a grant to build a life-sized R2-D2 robot from the Star Wars franchise to visit schools and hospitals throughout the region. I spent the end of middle school and the beginning of high school constructing the robot from sheet metal, 3D-printed plastic, and custom electronics.
