My Co-Founder and I are building an open-source luxury clothing brand. The wash tag of each clothing item contains NFC tags which are encoded with the exact garment specifications, including orgin of materials, construction, dye process, sewing pattern, hardware, etc. This information is avaliable at the tap of a phone. The value proposition is that consumers will learn about and fall in love with the specifics of their clothes. If you are in the high-end audio world or obsessed with cars or anything similar, it is assumed that you know what engine, driver, monitor, or technology is working in the background. We are trying to bring this obsession and curiosity to the foreground of the thoughtprocess of a luxury fashion consumer.
