This project started when a cattle mastitis testing company reached out to me. They focused on testing dairy samples for pathogens that cause mastitis, and used industrial pipette machines requiring proprietary equipment that had gone out of production. My role was to design a chemically stable and durable set of test tube racks for their machine to reduce the cost of buying second-hand racks for $500+. Through photos and diagrams, I was able to recreate the racks within two iterations through Fusion360 and 3D printing. See the photos below:
